The Symbolism Of The Tethered Coin

In chinese tradition, the coin symbolizes wealth and prosperity. Many wear a necklace with one of these coins as a “good luck charm”. I believe we make our own luck, through the choices we make. I see the Tethered Coin as a symbol of “getting a leash on our finances”. Money is our servant, not the reverse.
I wear the coin as a reminder to keep my money on a short leash. When that enticing purchase is in front of me in the local store, it helps me to remember to stop and think about what I am considering. It helps me go back over the 7 Key Behaviors in my mind and apply them to my decision-taking process.
If anyone is interested in having one of these coins, a quick Google search will yeild numerous results. I found pieces ranging from $10 to $1000 and all were quite attractive. Or you can get one from me for 5 bucks plus postage by shooting me an email to wanderer@tetheredcoin.com and just say “I want a necklace!” Eventually I’ll have them up for sale on the store site, but the web-gurus are still hard at work over there. I accept Paypal as a payment form and, if you want one of mine, I’ll reply to your email with a link which will allow you to pay using your credit or debit card (obviously I’d prefer it were a debit card, but that’s part of your journey, not mine.) You don’t have to sign up for Paypal in order to use it, either. It’s just a way for me to collect without compromising your security.
